Program Educational Objectives
PEO 1: Knowledge: The budding Pharmacy Graduates, as an integral part of the health care team, will be having strong theoretical and fundamental knowledge to contribute to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences and public health. They will also possess necessary practical skill set in manufacturing of drugs of best quality and excel in patient counseling, to alleviate sufferings of humanity.
PEO 2:Core Competence: To provide students with a solid foundation in fundamentals and advances of Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy, as per the requirement of Pharmaceutical Industries, Community and Hospital Pharmacy, and pharmaceutical marketing. The Program aims to make students competent for future, by making them industry ready.
PEO 3: Multidisciplinary Approach: To train students with good knowledge along with practical efficiency in Pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, Drug properties, synthesis, molecular modeling, formulation & development, analytical aspects in research and design with the help of industrial visits and guest lectures. Enable them to extend this knowledge to create novel Herbal & Synthetic Pharmaceutical products for the benefit of life.
PEO 4: Professional Skills: To inculcate in students professional and ethical attitude, team work skills, trouble shooting attitude, effective communication skills, multidisciplinary approach, and an ability to relate pharmaceutical sciences issues to broader social context.
PEO 5: Global Presence: Graduates of the program, as a global healthcare professional, need to involve in international activities like participation in international conference, International student exchange program, collaborative research, pursuing higher studies along with employment in overseas. Establishing channels that facilitate closer ties between overseas alumni and graduate students provides crucial benefits like inspiration, reputation, and financial support.
